How we collect, use, and protect your data
FasMatch ("we", "our", "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data when you use the FasMatch mobile application.
By using FasMatch, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
FasMatch collects the following data to provide its services:
FasMatch uses Google Firebase and Google AI (Gemini) to power its features. The following services are active:
Data is stored on Google's servers and subject to Google Firebase's Privacy Policy. AI interactions are processed by Google's Gemini models in accordance with Google AI Terms. Weather data is fetched via WeatherAPI.com using your approximate location (coordinates only, no address is shared). In-app purchases are processed by Google Play and subject to Google Play's Privacy Policy.
We use collected data solely to provide and improve the FasMatch experience:
Your data is stored on Firebase's secure, encrypted cloud infrastructure. We apply the following security measures:
• Firebase Security Rules restrict access so users can only read or write their own data.
• Firebase App Check prevents unauthorized apps from accessing our backend.
• All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encrypted connections.
• Photos stored in Firebase Storage are protected by user-specific access rules.
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
FasMatch may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect anonymized identifiers and usage data to serve relevant ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device settings:
• Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization
• iOS: Settings → Privacy → Tracking → disable for FasMatch

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. To delete your account and all associated data, you may submit a request through the "Delete Account" link in the app settings or contact us directly.
Upon deletion:
• Your authentication record is removed from Firebase Authentication.
• Your profile, match history, and AI chat sessions are deleted from Firestore.
• Your uploaded images are removed from Firebase Storage.

FasMatch is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately and we will delete it.
You have the right to:
• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate data in your profile.
• Delete your account and all associated data.
• Export your data upon request.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. When we make significant changes, we will notify you within the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
Continued use of FasMatch after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
